Monkey D. Luffy Big Sofvimates I'm Not Just Playing Around! Figure: Determined Child Luffy
The Monkey D. Luffy Big Sofvimates I'm Not Just Playing Around! figure by Banpresto depicts Luffy as a child, holding a small knife with a huge, tense smile from ear to ear, clearly determined to prove he isn't joking. It is a scene as funny as it is touching, taken from the very beginning of the story.
Standing 15 cm tall, this figure from the Sofvimates line features a chibi style with rounded proportions: a giant head, a white shirt with a navy anchor, blue shorts, and flip-flops. Its "Big" format and vibrant colors make it an original piece that catches the eye on any shelf.
Child Luffy and the promise made to Shanks
In Fuchsia Village, young Luffy dreams of setting sail with Shanks the Red's crew. To show he is brave enough, he doesn't hesitate to cut himself under the eye with a knife: this is the origin of the small scar he still bears today.
This period marks the beginning of his dream to become King of the Pirates, and the promise to one day return his precious straw hat to Shanks.
