Taro Sakamoto, the assassin turned father

Taro Sakamoto is the protagonist of the hit manga Sakamoto Days, a work by Yuto Suzuki published in Weekly Shonen Jump. A legendary former hitman, Sakamoto ended his career after falling in love, choosing a peaceful life running a convenience store. But his past soon catches up with him, forcing him to take up arms again to protect his loved ones. This character perfectly embodies the duality between violence and tenderness, between survival instinct and the desire for peace.

In this Vibration Stars figure, we find the very essence of this complex character. It depicts Taro ready to do anything to defend his family, in a scene that evokes the early chapters of the work, when enemies from the past begin to resurface. His emblematic look – long tied hair, glasses, and coat – is meticulously reproduced to satisfy the most demanding fans. Sakamoto is often associated with characters like Shin, a former telepathic killer who became his colleague, or Lu, a martial arts expert. Together, they form an atypical but remarkably effective trio, highly appreciated by readers.
