Recap of Our Participation in Pop Sakura 2025 in Borgo, Haute-Corse
On August 17, 2025, our Gear5World team had the pleasure of participating in the second edition of Pop Sakura, a must-attend manga convention held at the Salle des Fêtes de Borgo, in Corsica. This event was a day rich in exchanges, discoveries, and emotions, bringing together many anime fans, cosplayers, and exhibitors who came to share their passion for Japanese culture and manga universes!
A Booth in the Colors of the Manga Universe
For the occasion, we set up a colorful and varied booth to showcase our product selection! Visitors could find a wide range of One Piece figures, from the most iconic collections such as DXF, Battle Record, and Grandista!
It was also an opportunity to unveil a major new addition: our catalog expansion to other Japanese animation licenses! In addition to our iconic selection of One Piece figures, Pop Sakura visitors had the exclusive chance to discover our first figures from essential licenses such as Naruto, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball Z, and My Hero Academia! This diversification generated a lot of enthusiasm on site, and we are delighted to announce that this new selection will soon be available on our online store! A great way to expand the Gear5World universe while maintaining our commitment to the quality and authenticity of the products offered.
A Friendly Atmosphere and Exciting Exchanges
Throughout the day, we had the chance to interact with numerous fans of One Piece and other universes, some coming to complete their collections, others simply curious to discover new figures or goodies. The human connection, shared passion, and positive feedback made this day a real success!
We also had great encounters with local artists and talented creators, who exhibited their original works, illustrations, or handmade objects. It was a real pleasure to see that manga culture continues to inspire new forms of artistic expression.
An Important Step for Our Gear5World Adventure
This convention was an opportunity for us to meet our community in person, listen to their desires and feedback, and strengthen our ties with everyone who has followed our store since its beginnings. Seeing our figures displayed, admired, and purchased with a big smile is one of the greatest rewards for us.
We leave this event re-energized, inspired, and more motivated than ever to continue the Gear5World adventure, expand our catalog, and offer even richer experiences in the future!
